Lilit Aleksanyan is Head of Legal Practice at Ameria Legal and Tax Advisors, with over 15 years of experience advising local and international clients on complex corporate, M&A, commercial, employment and regulatory matters.
Lilit regularly leads multidisciplinary legal teams on sophisticated domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, investments and other strategic transactions. She advises clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including transaction structuring, legal due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, obtaining regulatory approvals and addressing post-closing matters.
Her practice also covers corporate governance, commercial contracts, labour matters, regulatory compliance, public procurement and interactions with governmental authorities and regulatory bodies. Lilit has led numerous legal due diligence projects in connection with acquisitions, investments and financing transactions across a broad range of industries and advises both local businesses and international clients on their operations and investments in Armenia.
Lilit combines a strong understanding of international commercial and employment law with in-depth knowledge of Armenian corporate, civil, labour and regulatory law. She regularly works with international clients and counsel on cross-border matters, coordinating Armenian-law aspects with wider international transactions and business structures.
